Terms
The basics of using ReceiptDesk, in plain language.
The service
ReceiptDesk is a workspace for recording gift information and managing donor receipt and year-end statement workflows. ReceiptDesk does not process donations or move funds.
Your account
You are responsible for the staff you invite, the roles you assign, and keeping sign-in credentials secure. Notify us if you believe an account has been misused.
Your organization's information
You confirm that the legal name, address, registration or EIN number, signatory, and acknowledgment wording you configure are accurate and that you are entitled to use them.
Tax and legal responsibility
Tax treatment depends on the organization and the gift. ReceiptDesk provides configurable acknowledgment fields and wording only. Your organization is solely responsible for confirming its legal and tax information, and for the accuracy of the documents it issues.
Acceptable use
Do not use ReceiptDesk to send unsolicited messages, to store information you are not permitted to hold, or to attempt to access another organization's records.
Plans and fees
Plan pricing is confirmed in writing before service begins. Setup packages are one-time engagements covering the tasks agreed with your team.
Availability and limits
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use.
Ending service
You may stop using ReceiptDesk at any time and request an export or deletion of your records.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and notify account owners of material changes.
